I hear it in the blossoming flowers,
As they smile upon the sun with charm and vigour;
I hear it in the laughter of the lovers,
As they walk hand in hand along the river.
I hear it in the swarming of the bees,
As they dance in the air with a happy tune;
I hear it in the new cool breeze,
As it kisses my skin which is otherwise immune.
Whenever the spring comes, I seek the answer, that I feel, is intrinsic,
I ask myself with astonishment: “Why do I lose myself when I hear the music?
Is it just my imagination, or is there a valid reason?
That I hear this hymn every brand new spring season?
Is it just the joy of seeing the beautiful sights,
Or does nature really come alive?
I’ve been wondering for years and years,
But I’ll never know the answer I fear!
Some mysteries remain unsolved,
Even when the world is turned upside down,
Like the mystery of how life evolved,
Is still unknown to the greatest men of town…
So, I vow to stop my mission and just treasure
The spring hymns, I wish would stop never.
My heart is filled with intense pleasure,
But I know not, if it lasts forever!
